From designing campaigns for esports teams to building cloud architectures at SAP. An unconventional path, always driven by curiosity and technology.
Hi, I'm Nacho
I started my career in the creative world. I studied graphic design at CEV and worked as a designer for years, covering illustration, branding, 3D and social media. The turning point was Movistar Riders, one of Spain's most recognised esports teams.
There I created content for thousands of followers, managed the team's visual identity and witnessed first-hand the fusion of technology and entertainment. That sparked a deep curiosity in me about how technology transforms businesses.
Moving to Novis Euforia allowed me to pivot into IT consulting, and in 2024 I joined SAP Spain, where I now work as a technical consultant specialising in cloud integration and BTP architectures. But I didn't stop there: generative AI opened up a whole new world that has me completely hooked.
When I'm not integrating systems or experimenting with LLMs, I'm at the gym, working on my golf handicap, suffering with Atleti or building something new in the homelab.
A different path
Design and implementation of complex iFlows, and development of solutions for SAP PI/PO to Integration Suite migrations, including the adaptation of mappings and integration logic.
Hands-on work on SAP Task Center integrations and on configuring Cloud Identity Services (SAP IAS/IPS) for authentication and identity propagation scenarios. Additional experience in the SAP AI Launchpad ecosystem, integrating and consuming AI services within BTP.
SAP BTP management and administration (subaccounts, roles, entitlements), together with solution delivery on Integration Suite and Workzone Advanced Edition.
Creating and managing subaccounts, roles and entitlements, and provisioning services such as Integration Suite and Workzone Advanced Edition. Also importing and adapting PI/PO mappings through Cloud Connector.
This stage consolidated my knowledge of integration, cloud architecture and BTP services, and marked the start of my professional career in the SAP world.
My values
I learn continuously. From design to SAP, from SAP to AI. Every new technology is an opportunity to connect dots that previously seemed unrelated.
I believe in real teamwork. Sharing knowledge, helping when someone gets stuck and pushing together in critical moments is what makes projects succeed.
My design background gave me an obsession with details. A good integration system, like good design, is one where nothing is missing and nothing is superfluous.
I don't stop at PoCs. I like things that work in production, under real load, with real users. Debugging at 2am is also part of the job.
What I'm passionate about
Football is the passion I grew up with. Atleti is my lifelong team that fights every match with courage and heart — that never-say-die attitude is something I completely identify with.
Atleti fanDaily training is the mental reset I need. Gym discipline and work consistency have more in common than it seems. I'm interested in the intersection of data and physical performance — that's what led to projects like Nutrivista.
Data + performanceGolf taught me that patience and consistency are the only strategies that work long-term. I even built my own app for round tracking and handicap: RoundCard.
High handicap, very highMy home is my permanent lab. Zigbee, sensors, contextual AI automations in Home Assistant, local LLMs with Ollama... If something can be automated or monitored, I do it.
Event-driven homeAn addictive racket sport. I love the blend of tactics, reaction and teamwork. A great way to switch off and compete at the same time.
On courtI've been playing and collecting cards for years. I'm drawn to the strategic depth of the game, deck building and finding synergies nobody else sees.
Control & combo1:8 scale RC cars. Tuning, mechanics, electronics — it's miniature engineering. There's something deeply satisfying about fixing and fine-tuning something that then races at 80 km/h.
1:8 scaleI didn't come to the SAP world through the conventional path. I came from design, from esports, from curiosity. And I think that's exactly what makes me different.
